Located 4,500 feet above sea level, San Sebastián del Oeste is one of Mexico’s best-preserved colonial towns, founded in 1605 by Spanish miners. Its cobblestone streets, original architecture, and historic charm make it a true living museum.

The journey begins with hotel pick-up heading into the Sierra Madre. Along the way, we stop in La Estancia, Jalisco, to visit a local distillery, learn about the mezcal-making process, and enjoy a tequila tasting.

Upon arrival, the fresh mountain air and pine aroma welcome you. We start with a visit to a local jewelry shop, followed by lunch at the traditional restaurant Los Arcos, where you’ll enjoy regional dishes.

Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore the town: its church, the main plaza with its kiosk, colonial streets, and artisan shops—always guided by an expert who shares the town’s history.

Before heading back to Puerto Vallarta, we’ll visit a coffee plantation, where you’ll learn the process of making authentic local coffee.
